I am a rookie at MC with motivation to learn and utilize solids. I will be posting rookie question of the day. Please be patient with my ignorance.

Rookie question of the day:

Is it useful to try and transform translate a solid to a known previously created point ex. X0. Y0. Z0.,

The question is not correct one.

Good for what?

For cam that `s I always do cause I used to do it in other programs but more people prefere to do cam like Cadcam sais (changing the Cplane & Tplane).

For cad I don`t know.

And there is no need to build point at 0,0,0

you can translate to origine !
