Hi all,

Is there the way to set in the post do not output plunge rate = 0. (F0.)or if plunge rate = 0, out- put feed rate.

I know in tool parameter if plunge rate = feed rate, the post do not output plunge rate, else output plunge rate.

But my tool library created base on V7. all plunge rate = 0. It work OK on V7 post.(not out- put F0.). Now we have problem in V8 or V9.

We use Mpmaster.pst (V8 & V9)

Ex:

N100 T8 M6

(1.0" END MILL)

N105 S1146 F8.02

N115 G0 G90 X-8.5575 Y.6314

N120 G43 H58 Z3. M8

N125 M3

N130 Z.1

N135 G1 Z-1. F0. <===== plunge rate

N140 X-8.1575 F8.02 <===== feed rate

N145 G3 X-12.1575 I-2. J0.

Thanks a lot

Paul,

you compressed the tool libraries when you converted them to version 8 and 9 and lost the plunge rates. Is this really what the issue is?

If that was the case, I would go in and edit the tool library.

The post could be edited, but I do not have the mpmaster post on my computer. I could help if I had the post. I only use a custom written post for fadal.

I will download the mpmaster post and let you know.

Hi Perfecseal Mankato ,

My original library (from V7) had plunge rate=0. Not by convertion to V8.

The generic plunge rate you show, it help anyway but it is not the one we are looking to.

The one we want: if plunge rate = 0, don't output

plunge rate.

Thanks

Paul
