X3 and solidworks 09 problem

Design recenetly upgraded to solidworks 09. When I try to download model into mastercam I get a cannot find parasolids pop up. I upgraded to x3 and downloaded the solidworks patch but to no avail. Help!

No dice. Everything was fine with x2 mr2 with whatever version of solidworks they were running. I would assume it was 08.

Mastercam patch for solidworks 09 is not available at this time.

The upcoming X3 update (coming soon!) will be able to import SW2009 files.

Patiently waiting. My other work station is still on X2. Design has to convert solid works 09 files to parasolids xt to run on x2. I have not tried it on x3 yet as i'm still using inventor files and parts I have already programmed. Last resort? Draw it. Peace out.

We are running x2mr2sp1 .gonna wait for 1st x3 update before we switch over. design just got sw09

and before they install on all computers they wanted to know if mcx could open sw09 file.

So i'm with ya, waiting patiently .

It is unlikely X2 will ever be able to open a SW2009 file.

 

There are no more updates for X2

 

X3 MU1 will be able to open SW2009 files
