HS Area Clearance - Min Z

Using HST area clearance the last cut is only .125 of the material(its soft plastic). This a creating a problem with chatter tearing of the material.. I would like to make the last cut no less than .250 but no matter the value entered under the add cuts min cut it still will not do what I want. Is there a way to get this path without using 2 paths with diff depths....

I'm not sure I'm following what you're trying to do. If you need the last cut to be a .250 depth you have three options.

1. Turn off the "add cuts", so all of your z passes are .250 deep

2. Try adjusting the "max profile stepover" - giving a bigger value might give the last cut the full .250 depth

3. Set the "max Zpeth" to .250 from the bottom and run another opertion to finish the bottom.
