Machine Def issue

I have a post for my CNC mill that was given to me by my reseller. The opnly problem is the max feed rate it allows me to input is 70 IMP and the machines true max is 450 IPM. I have no idea how to change this. Can someone help me with this?

what kind of post and if it started off as a generic ...you should find this

Not sure what you mean by what kind of post but here is the first line in the post:

When trying to change the feed rate in the parameters box it says

 

"Current Tool settings modified

 

In order to conform to our current Machine Def/Control Def paramters some of this tool's settings have been changed. "

 

 

Keep in mind I have never edited a post or a machine/control def before.

You may need to get ahold of your reseller and tweak the posts the way you want them to work as you have 4 different configs that you are playing with now that I see in your list of mastercam licences.

 

My bad ...I presumed that you were in the process of tweaking the post yourself.

 

So have you got a name for your new machine definition...ie ....Okuma....Fadal....Haas?

I must confess I have never seen and Anilam post and not sure of its configuration....can you repost this thread with the title of "Need help with altering Anilam post" so that others might be more assistance
