Using The STL after Verify Help

Hi all,

I'm trying to get the STL after I run Verify over to our Engineering Dept, to create process prints from what I just cut but not having any luck with this. is their a format that I could use to do this?

Verify only outputs STL and there's not a lot you can do with those as you've noticed. Other than sending them the model you programmed off of, I can't think of any other way unless you want to spend some money and convert the STL to surfaces but I hear the results are not that great and can be time consuming.

when you say process prints , you mean 3d prints/RP parts? The saved stl from verify should work fine; I have tried printing one myself though.

 

Also some of the high end STL editors like magics and geomagic should be able to repair the stl if there is a problem from mastercam(but I wouldn't think there would be?)
