  1. Yes, contact In-house. That's where I got mine from, it's a small file that can be emailed.
  2. I ran into this a month or so ago, there is a patch you need to run to fix this problem. Contact your dealer, they can hook you up.
  3. Thanks guys, we did find a way to do it in edit but we can't restart from there. You have to exit edit then search for the block number and start from there.
  4. We have a Mitsubishi Meldas 500 control attached to our OKK VMC. Our operator informed me the other day that this control does not have the ability to search through a program (say if you wanted to find the next tool change). Is this true? I don't like to question the guy but I just find this hard to believe. Thanks for your input. Neil.
  5. quote: Ken, I just quit using our Co. Logo....it looked cool, but we all know where we work Same here, small price to pay for such a great setup sheet.
  6. Ken, are you posting to a network drive? Try posting locally. I know it sounds strange but I think I can across this before.
  7. Still pretty cool that you can dimension it though.
  8. That would be something if this is true, Gary can you please recheck your procedure and confirm that this works. I'm assuming you're talking about a block with some holes or pockets, no 3d surfaces.
  9. Sorry Ray, it can't be done without some kind of stl to surface software.
  10. Hey Hardmill, I've got a seat of Fastblank and a seat of AutoForm if it's a sheet metal part you need help with. Neil.
  11. It leaves material per side, so yes for a bore it will leave .002 total. Neil.
  12. Thanks Gcode I already tried them, those aren't the original drivers.
  13. Hi John, xp 32 and 64 bit (dual boot) with UG. I can download the new version for it but the original driver and control panel works better.
  14. Can anyone help me out, I'm looking for the original driver that came with our Spaceball 5000 (serial). The latest ones off of the 3dconnexion site don't work as well as the original ones but I can't find the disk. Can someone upload it to Megaupload or put it on the FTP site. Thanks, Neil.
  15. quote: PS ... does anyone ever mess with these parameters? The only thing I've changed in the parameters is to disable the splash screen, this makes Mastercam boot much quicker.
  16. We also never use solids for toolpaths....we had too many problems. That being said, it's been a while since I've used them, maybe some of the issues have been resolved. N.
  17. I'm having some odd issues also, everytime I open x4 MU1 the operations manager is detached and about half it's size. Not a show stopper, just annoying. I'm not sure if I have the latest drivers for the Quadro 4600 and NEC 24" monitor.
  18. It's ok on my machine but not on my co-workers. He is running XP32 bit SP2, Nvidia quadro 4 900. Latest drivers didn't help, disable hardware acceleration unchecked.
  19. It's available now, got a copy from my dealer a couple of weeks ago.
  20. quote: "The training was perfect. If anyone is looking for training I totally recommend Axsys. " "Can someone plz explain to me the difference between mill level 1 and mill level 3? Thanks " Irony? LOL
  21. Mill level 3 does multi surface (using surfaces or solids) machining.
  22. The Demo software is not for learning. We have 3 seats of Mill level 3 in programming, the demo version is so the operator on the floor can open up the file and view the program if he needs to. Saves him bothering the programmers and he gets a better understanding of how the block is processed.
  23. If that's the case, than HLE is not an option.
