We have a Mori Seiki SL-75MC Lathe with live tooling and a Fanuc MSC518 control.

Anybody have experience on trying to crossdrill with peck cycle?

Mplfan post wants to spit out G83 but machine will only seem to accept G87 which is chip break.

I have 248 holes to drill thru .5 wall thickness in 304 stainless and don't want to write it out long hand!

Anybody have a post for this beast? confused.gif

Ain't it great how the control and machine tool makers standardize their G and M codes so we don't have to learn a whole new language every time we buy a machine; sure is nice of them rolleyes.gif

Beautiful machine, by the way, do I dare ask what it cost? eek.gif
