Need to decrease speed on lead out

Hello

I program for a abrasive waterjet and when my toolpath comes to the lead out the water stream jumps into the lead in than has been cut already.

So I need a c-hook, or something that will automaticly slow down the feedrate when coming back to the starting point.

It can be done in the post.

Search for pfr in yout pst file and add the following.

code:

 exitfeedcounter : 0

pfr # Feedrate W/O Negative Feedrates

if fr > 0, fr

if exitfeedcounter = 1, exitfeedcounter = exitfeedcounter + 1

if cend = 1, exitfeedcounter = 1

if exitfeedcounter = 2, "F2." #change F2 to desired feed

if exitfeedcounter = 2, exitfeedcounter = 0

In the operations manager right click on the nci file and it will bring up the toolpath editor, select the point at which you want to change the feedrate, click edit, edit point, you will then be in the edit point parameters page with all kinds of options.

Hope this helps!
