X4 Fillet Surface To Curve

Ocean Lacky™

Recommended Posts

The setup: Create a flat boundary surface. Create a series of lines and arcs .125 above the aformentioned surface. Wireframe can be a closed loop or open. Create Fillet Surface to Curve using a .25r.

The problem: The resulting fillet surface is one continuous JOINED surface, regardless of whether the "Join" check box is ticked.

Anyone else?

I found that it depends on where I start the chain, I had a closed chain with one square corner, the rest was lines and arcs all smooth transitions of varying degrees. If I start the chain on a fillet I get two surfaces one from the square corner to the start point and one after to the square corner. There should be a spot for a break angle or something like that.
