toolpath allocations for v7.2c

Hi guys can someone please help!.

we have just bought a new computer a p3 800 with 256meg ram ect and ive had to reinstall m/cam. i did get into the config file then i set the allocations for the amount of ram for toolpaths, database,points per splines ect but when i try to get into it again i can find the option to change it again anywhere. im running mcv7.7c so its got me buggered... also what allocations should i start at for my system? thanks Paul

Paul,

If you enter the config settings with alt-F8, you won't find the tab for allocations. Use the menu and the tab will be there.

Hi Paul

Screen > Config > Allocations

with 256 meg try

points per spline - 5000

patches per surf - 5000

entities to undelete - 500

Database Allocations - 50000

Toolpath Allocations - 50000

Makes easy to remember too.
