Every now and then when milling 2 different Z depths I will get a rapid movement that maves all 3 axis' at the same time to get to the next position. It seems to be related to retract heighth. I kind of remember something like this in X and I changed something in the post.I now am using X4 and it"s back. Any ideas/

If you are using high speed toolpaths, use a high value for your retract feedrate rather than using rapid retracts. When you use a feedrate for retracts, you will get a G01 movement with the feedrate value you have entered. We use 1500ipm on our Makino's. This makes sure your movement from one position to another is a linear move, rather than a dog-leg move which is what you would get using G00.
