Import operations?

Hi all

 

Can I map to where I want to import ops from? Always defaults to C/mill/ops. Can it be mapped to a network drive like .mcx and .nc files can?

yes in the control def you can set it where the folder is

Yes you can.

 

There are settings in the configuration file but the setting in the control def >> files will override the config settings. So be sure to set your path in the control def.

Not sure if I asked this right. I want to import a few ops from another part that is very similar. I do this all the time but I always have to right click in ops manager-import(sorce folder is always Cmcamxmillops) I want the sorce folder to be a network drive where all my part files are.

yes you asked right in the CD is where you change that location

you'll have to move your default OPs folder like mentioned above to change the folder, otherwise you do have navigate there.

as you see in the pic to the right there is a file cabinet icon click ops then click the file cabinet icon and browse out to where you want to get files from
