Editing an old file issue.

I'm editing an old file. On this file when I regenned paths I got "display tool" path crawling along. I just held down the escape key and it flew thu the path. I looked for that button and I can't find it. Anyway there were some inefficient contours that I replaced with a dynamic mill. When I hit the check mark (new path)it started with the same "display tool" junk but now the escape key doesn't work and at the pace it's going this will take awhile.

 

Can anyone tell me where that "display tool" button is?
