USB Issue

Good Morning Guys,

I need help with this one because my reseller isn't up yet. My I.T. guy moved my usb nethasp from the back of the server to a usb hub that is on the server and now Mastercam can't read it.

You need to go into NhaspX.exe and switch "Mode" from "Local" to "Network". Also I seem to recall that there's a license hosting program you need to put on the server.

What I've gathered if others have this issue:

 

1. When installing a USB hub, it seems people are having luck if you reboot the server after installing the hub and moving the dongle.

2. Download the Aladdin Diagnostix here: ftp://ftp.aladdin.com/pub/hasp/new_releas...Diagnostics.zip . Which allows you to 'hardcode' the server IP and aid in the client finding the nethasp.

3. Make sure the USB hub is self powered. (Which I think you said your's is Ted)

4. Install the latest drivers for the Nethasp may also fix the problem. Link: ftp://ftp.aladdin.com/pub/hasp/new_releas...river_setup.zip

Make sure the nethasp is unplugged when installing drivers and a reboot also helps.
