Sorry, Tom ... not for your suggestion ...

 

What I did was to make my own customized toolbar and renamed it, and set it to the default in startup ... called "dad_x4.mtb"

 

I do not believe in changing the default.mtb ...

 

when I went to Setting ==> Customize ==> Open ==> default.mtb ... the status bar returned ...

 

Yeah, for good habits ...

 

All I have to do is copy a backup file I made and paste it back into the config directory and "DA-DA"
