Monarch post

Hello, I am in need of a post for a Monarch VMC45B, it has a Ge Fanuc 16-M control on it. If anyone has one and is willing to give it up I appreciate it. We are also having trouble communicating to the machine. We have to use a RS 232 cable and send programs that way. I believe everything is set up correct on Mastercams end, but the machine will not read it. If any one uses this or knows how advice is needed. Thanks.

Have you tried your reseller? The Fanuc 16M is a pretty straightforward control. It should not be too much of a problem for them.

I have a VMC 45 with a mark century 2000 control, and have had some problems downloading, but after getting the communications set up right in mcam (parity, baud rate, etc.) all works well.

 

Make sure these settings are correct, and good luck!
