bringing in solid works part files

We seem to have a problem bringing in complete solid works prts(2009-2010 student version). Some of the features come in and others don't. Although the features that are not there ARE in the solid history.

 

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

I don't think the problem discussed in the link that MCM put up there is really what's going on here.

You may just be running into our inability to import certain SolidWorks features (that don't have analogous features in Mastercam's solids tree) into Mastercam. When we hit one of those we have to turn the whole thing up to that point into a feature-less 'lump'.

Among the examples of features we can't handle are any domes, ribs, sweeps, and any extrude/cuts that go 'up to next'.

Thanks for clarifying that Mr. Rimkus. That was the 1st time I had heard of that and you couldn't have explained it any better. I've had the same problems in the past. I was just trying to present him with a possibility.
