c-hook problem X4 mu2

recently installed x4mu2 and c-hooks come up with "incompatible c-hooks internal version number: recompile and relink c-hook" Any idea what this means and how to fix it? Thanks.

I am trying to open "Rast2vec.dll" which, I thought came with the X4mu2 install disk. Any idea what the "Recompile and relink c-hook" means? Or how to do that?

"You have an old c-hook installed that isn't compatible" (with the version of Mastercam you are running.)

 

You can check the version details of Rast2Vec.dll in the [mcamx4]CHooks folder.

 

1> What is the 'modified' date on the Rast2Vec.dll

Mine is the 11/24/2009

 

2> Right click on the dll and check the 'File version' info

Is it "13.2.0.10" ?

(The first 2 digits are the important ones here)

Make sure your C-hooks are pointing to the correct folder if you did a parallel install. I had the same problem when I went from X2 to X3. Pointed everything to the correct folders and it was happy then.
