Small Endmill type help

Hi. I have a job where I have to cut some lettering into 6061T6 Aluminum. I am wondering what type of endmill is the best for it. The problem I'm having is it has to be .02 dia. I have to cut about .04 deep. I was looking at this site http://www.harveytool.com/products/index.p...s&category_id=2

but they have so many types, I'm not sure what type I should get. Thanks. By the way, I'm in Northern Ontario.

if you do not need a flat bottom we use single flute carbide countersinks they work well as engravers,small as 1/8" dedending on clearance around your engraving, to whatever i.e. 3/16, 3/8, 1/2, size if nothing's around it.

Ya it has to be flat. Its a mold. Besides I need alot smaller than 1/8. It has to be .02 and .04 deep. lol

you need flat I know but to clarify, the tip on that counterbore is pointed. at .04 deep you may only be .02 wide,most likly more tho, anyway you're on the right track w/ harvey tool

That's the tool Mr. M. I prefer 2 flute for allum.
