WCS Help

Recommended Posts

I could use some help with the WCS. I can get it to work with one WCS change. Example I bring in an IGS file that is in an incorrect orientation. Then I can change the WCS to make a side view the top. Works fine at this point.

Now if I need to cut the bottom also I create view select that as WCS and it flips fine. If I then go to the view manager and select the first new view as WCS (by clicking the WCS column and the X shows up) it does not go back. What am I doing wrong? The June 2002 Enews only take it as far as one WCS change. By the way I have tried two different approaches when creating the second WCS. One by creating the second from first new WCS and I also tried it by going back to the original top view and changing it from there with the same results.

Just curious, are you using groups in Operations Manager to separate the tool paths with separate NCI names?
