I can get the group name to output, but what I need is each Toolpath Group Name to output. I know this may be a simple thing, but I am having a heck of a time locating the parameter that contains this string so I can output it in the post..

I though is was tlpathgrp$, but that aint working..

Thanks, banghead.gif

Here is how MPMASTER handles it:

code:

Here it is defined:

stpgrpname : "" #20018 - Toolpath Group Name (name of operations Parent TP Group)

Here is it called in pparameter:

pparameter$ #Information from parameters

if prmcode$ = 20018, stpgrpname = ucase(sparameter$)

Here it is in pcomment3:

if stpgrpname <> snull, pbld, n$, pspc, scomm_str, "TOOLPATH GROUP - ", stpgrpname, scomm_end, e$

Thanks Ron,

I was looking at the wrong thing... DUP!!!

Even though this says Toolpath Group Name in MP Master this will only output the NC Filename. Im sure there is a way to output the Toolpath Group Name.

I can just create a manually entry, for a quick fix till I can figgur this out..

When we create a new toolpath group, we give it a name. This name is the parameter I am trying to output. Sometime we have many Toolpath Group Names under one Machine Group.

It looks as if it might have been Parameter 19994 that was removed back in X3.

sometimes its the simple things that elude me..
