Open Pocket Struggles

I have put a file on the FTP in "X4 Files" named FB028 Open Pocket. I have tried 3 diferent approaches to an open pocket in a solid model.

Area Clear, Open Pocket and Dynamic Mill. I am not getting any of these to work. Area Clear wants to come down in the middle of the part. Open Pocket will start off the end of the part and then cut all the way to the middle of the part and then begin a regular pocketing routine even though the Open Pocket switch is selected on the Cut Parameter Page. And 2D Dynamic Mill doesn't give me any toolpath at all. Thanks in advance.

With dynamic mill you will need to select both your pocket and the stock, but the stock geometry will need to follow the the pocket geometry.
