new video card

So, I think that I need to get a new video card, but I don't know what to get. I have an hp probook labtop. I have several other CAD programs downloaded onto my laptop too. I was just wondering if you all could give me some good ideas for some compatible video cards. Also, what makes a video card compatible?

nVidia Quadro will be the best, but don't know specifically if they make one for your HP. I know they do for Dell's

 

You might wanna do a search for a quadro for HP

most laptops have the video card hard wired to the motherboard and you can't change them.

What vidoe card does your laptop have??

Try playing with the settings at

System Config/Screen. Yo may be able to improve things without replacing the laptop
