Don't know how yours does it but we tend to tailor it to what you "actually" do, whereas other stuff may be more generic.

 

See what your reseller does in this way.

I guess that would depend on your reseller.....

I went to the week-long one this spring in CT.

It was tremendously helpful and I definitely would recommend it to anyone! You get a broad overview of all the toolpaths, what they do, how they work, and what circumstances they are designed for. Plus, being up there for a week lets you concentrate completely on the training without interuptions!

Also, since the class size was small, we were all able to go over detailed programming approaches for specific parts we had.

The time and money you (your company hopefully) spends on the training up there is a no-brainer if you don't have the support or experience of a 5-axis pro where you work. That's my case, self-taught for the past 4 years. There are so many ways to do multi-axis parts that you can waste massive amounts of time when you don't have any idea how to even approach a part.

It's well worth it, can't say it enough!
