SST material from Central Steel

Has anyone who uses Central Steel as their material supplier been noticing fluctuations in the quality of the stainless bars?

 

We recieved some 1" x 2" 303 flat stock that was destroying the tooling on a proven job. After dinking with the program and scrapping 1/2 dozen parts they found some old material, went back to the original program and started making good parts. We sparked up the two different bars and both were within material specs with the good bar having more sulfur. I was off for the day so I don't know how much. I'm just wondering if Central is importing lower quality material from India/China or if we just got a bar fron a bad batch.
