Saved operations yeild no toolpath when regenerated

This has probably been asked before, but I cannot find it. I machine similar parts all the time, so I save operations to speed programing. Today, when I re-associated the tool-path (a surface finish project) the tool-path came up as only 0.8k. The tool-path flashed briefly when I re-generated it rather than the usual way it shows during re-gen. I tried various things including starting all over again and reimporting the operations, nothing seems to fix the problem. Has anyone experienced this before?

I seen similar problems if the tool plane is incorrect.

Depth of the geometry was wrong, at the right depth everything is fine!
