I am looking for testimonials on the Raster-Vector feature that is with v9. I may be ordering v9 and I am wonder if it's the R-V I'm looking for. I use a cheap R-V package now and I, well, I got what I paid for. I want to expand on what I can get from the scanner to the machine. I'm not doing anything crazy, just some 2D graphics and Logos and such. Any feedback would be appreciated to make me feel good about the purchase. I am familiar with the toolpathing and normal features so, that's not an issue. I was considering Corel draw until I saw the v9 info. Hopefully this 1 purchase will take the place of 2.

I use raster-vector frequently. I find it pretty easy and powerful. I pull logo's from web pages, do jpegs, etc. So far no problems....

I also recently acquired RAS2VEC and have been happy with it. It does work best on black and white, but color can be done with relative ease.

I've used it in the past with great results. If you can get *.ai files, they come in perfect.

I use it and found it to be a great tool.

I do agree with MetalMarvels & James o ther comments.

 

I have used it for its engraving side to and it does a great job.

 

Used it on a few Mold jobs the customer was really happy with the results.
