Well that did it! I thought I tried every permutation of options last night, but I guess not.

 

I also was thinking that would be a "slice", because it was like a meat slicer, an xy section. While a"pass" was a depth cut. Guess it got it reversed.

edit. still having issues with lead-offs going the wrong direction. Trying the "flip" toggle but doesn't seem to do it.

Chris, I had a lot of trouble with moves between passes in that routine also...reprogrammed in Adv 5x and that solved it. My problem was multi-ax didn't make progressive X-Z-C moves between passes on a cylinder, so if it finished a ruf pass 180 deg from the start point, it would just rapid thru the part to get back to the start...

In Adv5x, you can control the between-passes moves much better, and it always produces output that positions the Z away from the cyl while it rotates back to the start, so it goes to postion, say, 1.0" above the wall and then stays there all the way around to the start again..
