Decimal point

Hello, maybe this is a stupid question, but wen i use my iso post off heidenhain, i get after every x,y,z or f a deciamal point "." how can i get rit off them, i use mastercam 8.1.1

If the value is an integer, you are looking for no decimal? e.g. X0 rather than X0.?

 

If so, the fs (format statements) for the relevant variables need to be modified.

 

e.g.

change

fs 2 0.4

to

fs 2 0^4

 

'^' is a conditional output of the decimal.

 

It also helps to know what post you are using, and if the format really matters to the control, or it's just your personal preference.

Interesting that use ISO for your Heid,I use Heid controllers and i like to output my programs in Heid convisational.I downloadded the Heid conv post from mastercam web sight and did minner changes to get exactly what i wanted.

I find Heid conv programes to be much easier to edit on controller if needed,you can put in cycles(datum shifts,drilling,pocket cycles,),edit tools,and block form for test run.
