Larry,

Do you provide any classes in the evenings and what would those classes cover? How do you conduct the online classes? Does your instructor have to train live? How does a student ask questions during the class? Do you cover any Multi-axis toolpath from Mastercam? smile.gif These are some of the questions which I would like answers(sp?) to. smile.gif

Peter,

We are currently only offering classes at 4pm CST. These classes cover general MCAM (see our at the address listed in my original post). All of our classes are live adn done via the Web. You logon to our website and enter the meeting room and then watch and listen (via speakers) as the instructor does his magic! If you have a mic you may ask questions by speaking, if not, there is a built in chat room that the presenter checks. Right now we're pretty basic as far as classes go. Most of our instructors here are not doing any complex MCAM functions. Hope this helps.

Larry,

Thanks for the clarification. Seeing as you're on the west coast, 4 p.m. your time is 7 p.m. here. smile.gif What's your training software if you don't mind me asking? We have a software package in the office that allows us to demo and take control of all computers in our training room. I can also transfer files from my computer to any of those computers. We have yet to find a solution for presenting information over the web. frown.gif

Jay,

quote:

How fare are you from the ROCK?

By Rock I'm assuming you are referring to Plymouth Rock and not that obnoxious blowhard of the WWF. Sterling is in the central part of Massachusetts, north of Worcester (pronounced Wuhstah around heah) and Plymouth is near Cape Cod, actually south of Boston (that's Bahstin) on the coast. By using Mapquest, an estimated distance is 65 miles away, or about 90 minutes. Of course, that has nothing to do with Boston's traffic and how long it would actually take to get there. For some unknown reason, Plymouth Rock wasn't listed as one of the Historical Monuments to choose to visit in Mapquest. confused.gif Many of the towns here in New England, and especially in MA, are named after towns in England, which might lead to the confusion. There are also lots of places named from Native American tribes that were here before any of us European settlers. Two of which in particular are reclaiming the land and property of many a European descendant. In particular, the Manshantucket tribe (Foxwoods casino) and the Mohegan tribe (Mohegan Sun casino), which are within 20 miles of each other. The Narragansett tribe in Rhode Island has been trying for years to build their own casino but the state won't allow them. Frankly I feel they can do what they want, it's their land, but if they ever do, it would mean 3 casino resorts within 50 miles of one another. That might not seem like a lot if you consider Las Vegas, however, winning any money at all in these casinos is like pulling teeth. Those Indians really like to keep your hard-earned bucks. frown.gif Sorry for the local history lesson as it's way O/T. I guess I needed to provide what little I could in the way of history. smile.gif
