Calculate Speed/Feed in MC 9.1SP

In MC 9.0SP Mill Level 3, "Define Tool" tab, "Parameters" tab - why does changing the "% of matl. cutting speed" or "% of matl. feed per tooth" no longer affect the feed rate when the "Calc. Speed/Feed" button is pushed again??? Changing the Feed Calculation from "Material" to "From tool" in the "Job Setup" page doesn't seem to have an effect.

 

It worked in MC8.

just one thing it's 9.0 Sp1, version 9.1 is still in beta form

I just tried it in V9.0 SP1 and was able to get the feed rate to change.

 

I created a toolpapth. Got a tool, let it do it's thing. Checked the f/r. Now i went to the Job Setup, changed the material and changed the f/r calculation from Tool to Material. I went to Operatyion s Manager, right clicked went to options, then Recalculate Speeds/Feeds. Now my operation was "Dirty" I regened and it made the change. Try it the way I did it.

Got it James - it just doesn't work the way it used to..... I suppose it is true - nothing remains the same.
