CADkey files in MC

What file type would work the best with Mastercam from CADkey Solids? I have been having problems with IGES, DXF, and DWG. When I import the file into MC, some of the geometry is not attached to the part. Is there something I might be doing wrong when opening the file into MC or is it something else?

What types of files can you export out of cadkey? Only certain file types support solid entities.

Use the SAT converter out of CadKey and into MCam,

Works great, use it all the time with no problems.

So the CADL formate does not support solids?

I have not received a file from Cadkey in while.

As far as I know CADL only supports wireframe but you can import and export SAT and Parasolids from CadKey just fine.

The parasolid convertor works great, just keep track of what version you are ouputing depending on your cadkey relase.
