Its been a while since I used MC, and at any rate, when I did, it was a 5-axis on a router only cutting mdf models. I now am doing some 3-axis machining in a cinnci for a rot mold. I forget the best approach to roughing out with an insert endmill, then picking up with a smaller insert endmill while preventing plunging in corners etc. How do I "machine the left over" as an example? Or is there a better methode to accomplish this.

On the contour or pocket parameters at the bottom left there is a dropdown menu. pressing this allows you to select remachining. Open this window and you can set the parameters to clean up stock from previous operation or a specified size tool. Works great!!
