  1. I don't need 4x8, it was just this was all I could buy, probably only a couple pieces ~12"x16"x2"...
  2. I need to machine a series of trivial mostly flat molds for pouring fine concrete in. Given the complexity of the surface and the fact I was hoping to do this on a Thermwood router, I need a stable waterproof material. 2" PVC could work, but is rather expensive (~$1500.00 per 4'x8'). Anyone ever poured and machined Alumilite? Its cheap and would work fine for the few tests I need. Seems to be about ~$30.00 per Litre... Thanks!
  3. Brilliant, all I cut is mdf, why didn't I think of that:)
  4. Anyone got a reco for an alternative to ren shape, I have to mill a 5-axis based shape to be cast with plaster and need the surface pretty smooth. Thanks guys!
  5. This is a different company in our group. There's no one there can use mastercam They are looking for one of those simply gui packages that has the cutlist predefined, and they say "4 boxes, 120" etc" and and some simple cut list comes flying out... I smidge lame but thats what they want. Thanks!
  6. Anyone got a reco for a small Cabinet Making program. Specifically those ones that don't use CAD but quickly generate cut lists. Thanks! jlc
  7. When I try to start X, I get the following message: "The following error has occurred: the resource file was not setup. Please restart Art to return to last known stable step. Then we recommend to save your work for backup purposes." I have seen this in X3 and 4 on Vista x86. Anyone got an idea? Thanks!
  8. Hey Guys, Anyone doing this or know about it? I'd appreciate and advice from someone who has experience in this. I need to get some cutters for a couple of 5 axis routers similar to these: http://www.shapers.com.au/category18_1.htm Any NA based distributors preferably in Canada would be nice! Thanks for any info! jlc
  9. What are you guys seeing performance wise with Mastercam X2 MR2 Patch 2. Is it comparable yet to WinXP. I have a new install to do and can go either way. Searching the forum shows mostly negative feedback but I am wondering if anything has been improved. Thanks! jlc
  10. Hi all, We are looking for an operator/programmer to run two Thermwood 5 axis routers in Calgary Alberta Canada. Relocation compensation is available. Please contact me at JCasale_at_PerfectFit-ind.com with inquires. Thanks, jlc
  11. Domain admin under both situations... As stated, it always appears, even with the cd on a fresh box? thanks,
