It seems to me that Mastercam is getting some respect in the woodworking industry that it wasn't before.

When we first got MC v5.5 we were basically told it was the a great woodworking tool. To tell you the truth, I didn't agree with that with v6-v8. Now that some "flash in the pan" software has come and gone, I think MC is mentioned among woodworkers more and more.

I am wondering who is using MC for wood and what machine they are posting to. I am patiently waiting for Router V9 to be released (any day now??)

We have a Heian which uses a lot of macro programs I wrote, but I use MC v8 to do some odd ball stuff in solid wood and veneers. I did a search for WOOD and didn't see much useful discussion.

Anyone posting to a Weeke?
