Climbmilling inSurfcace rough pocket

when i use Surface rough pocket with a boundary is there a way i can control the cutter to

climb mill only with out turning on the finish parameter for a finish cut. The cutter chatters when a take a heavy cut in conventional cutting really what to rough the pocket out and the finish cut is a waste of time in this operation.

you can check the climb circle on your rough pocket parameters tab and use one way. it gives you a lot of retracts though.

Try cutting parallel spiral cut with the "inside to outside " enabled.It has worked for me.........

High-feed really shines in rough-pocket with finish. Saves a lot of time.

I would do the same thing Dan said. If you choose climb on the parameters page, it will rough cut the stock conventional and come back for the finish pas climb. Picking conventional will give you the exact opposite.
