frown.gif Well, I went through the steps of creating a "New Material" and entered arbitrary values for the color settings. The changes did affect the surfaces that I had selected, but -- just as you had originally stated -- when I exited MC (saving the changes to the current file) and re-entered, I could not find the material I had just defined.

 

Can anyone provide any guidance on this issue?
