Hello ,All !

Those of us , who use C-Hook colrsurf.dll know that it is very useful in many cases.

What I want to have is the option to do this with other entities like lines ,splines ,arcs and etc .

A dream feature is to have an option to do this with solid faces ! smile.gif

BTW , what about my avatar ?

Bryan !

I tried your C-hook and it works great.

May be somebody thinks that it is c-hook without any need at all , but I have a lot of cool things

to do with it.

For example create a spline offset it 100 times

and with the use of this c-hook color it with 5 colours.

It will separate them by color.

Now you mill every color with a different depth .

This sort of task I do a lot.

It is good for analyze ,for the cases of overlapping enteties and enteties one inside another and many other cases.

plasttav,

You're welcome. I hope you enjoy it.

I've had that attitude in the past but have found that it comes back and bites you on the xxxx. smile.gif Just this week I had to use a requested chook I put together a few months ago. I though I'd never have the 'situation' it required but it happened. The chook save me a bit of time fixing it.

If I may ask, what are you cutting that you offset a spline a 100 times and cut them? Relief maps?

Jay ! Thank you for an indication of the mentioned C-hook .I waited for it such a long time and had not known about it existence !

It can solve 50 % of problems .

Sometime the entities are not only overlapping ,but also intersecting one another ,branching from one point ,partly overlapping or simply at such a little distance so that in any way the Bryan`s C-hook helps a lot .It is in case of a bad wireframe drawing wich I sometimes get from one of our clients without getting a model.(It is a matter of 1 telephone call but they are afraid to insult a client !}

Mostly I can draw the part 5 times faster then to edit this @#$% !

Bryan .

The stuff I mentioned is with relation to optics.

Bryan ! Crlength ,keeplevs ,Menu,trimboth ROCKS !
