did anyone get any vb script to go with X?

my folder is empty.

There were no samples included with the release, however, many sample scripts included in V9 should run fine in X. Note, scripts that query *.OP9 files will need to be updated to *.OPERATIONS and likewise *.MC9 functions will need to be edited to *.MCX.

 

 

One thing to keep in mind, when opening, importing or creating a new file in X via VBScript, a call to a new function CreateGroup() must be made to correctly setup X with a machine group based on the active Machine Definition.

It doesn't seem like the two created Groups are completely set up with the machine.rmd? When I click properties/files it opens the "Open Machine Definition File" page defaulted to my machine.rmd name. I have to Open it and then click OK to complete the machine assignment? Then machine name now appears after Properties.

 

also, I also attempt to delete the default machine group "Machine Group 1" with

DeleteGroupFromName("Machine Group 1") at the end of my program. Doesn't seem to work?

Do you have a copy of .setdir script?

I am dumb when it comes to VBScript, I have

never messed with them.

I would like my setdir back to use in X.

Any help and/or info is greatly appreciated.

Mick, any luck with the ASKFORENTITY yet? Also could you point me to a list of the new VB mastercam commands for X? I am still teaching myself VB and a good list of commands is a big help. Thanks
