The optional V8 DWG Converter will read wireframe entities, as well as imbedded ACIS solids. On some NT systems, solids are not imported into the MC8 model. If this is the case on your system, follow these instructions:

WinNT

Assign TEMP and TMP Environment Variables.

Create a WindowsTemp (WinNTTemp) directory if it does not exist.

Start, Control Panel, System, Environment, User Variables.

Highlight TEMP.

In Value, enter: %windir%temp

Click Set.

Highlight TMP.

In Value, enter: %windir%temp

Click Set.

Start, Run, enter: REGEDIT

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, System, CurrentControlSet, Control, Session Manager,

Environment.

Modify PATH to include

;C:Mcam8CommonACADDATA;C:Mcam8CommonACISDATA
