I know it's a "woodworking Forum" but ARt is the prevalent product.

and I am not having ANY luck.

Any suggestions, I've tried just wireframe, stl file, nothing lookd right or good.

I'm not a bit Art user, can you tell?

Hi John, You can also back out the process by creating your unwrapped surfaces based on the dimensions of a wrapped surfaces. Art - New Art Base Surface - Unwrapped cylinder. If you give it a diameter of your desired end result, it will give you the length of a rectangle to start with. Once you have that, create the organic surfaces, textures, etc and then wrap it up. Good luck!

I set my background color as gradient

Settings >> configuration >> colors

I choose a gradient color direction of Horizontal

Then in color choices

starting color of 232

ending color of 252

if you then right click on your desktop and choose new .bmp file, give it a name and then right click on the new file and click on edit, you can then paste the capture into the file.

That's a long way to do and why I use an application for this but you can do it if need be.
