I don't know how to assign a specific color to a specific tool path but you can turn on color loop. This might give you what you want. To turn it on go to nc util, back plot, display, appearance tab, check the box for color loop. HTH

Good Evnin'

Welcome to the forum

I dont know if you can change colors on

toolpaths. but, you must be getting frustrated

with many toolpaths for the selected operations on the screen.

What I do is toggle the "screen-draw toolpath"

by using the ALT , T, and you should only

see the toolpath of the selected operation.

If you hit the ALT , T, again it will turn

all the toolpaths on again...a mess sometimes.

Bug: 9.1

After regen ,If all levels are on, the aqua

colored toolpath will remain visable, but

If Only ONE level is turned off, after regen,

the Aqua toolpath will not be visable.

Marks Idea is also good, it will change colors

on backplot on many tool paths.

But I use regen alot and I do alot of single

paths to watch their extents so I dont need

colors, and if I want multi or all the paths

I use verify...and I also use Thads method

by changing colors on tools, it is very

effective when doing a 5 side or blending

tools to pocket floors.

Thanks Marc - another fine tip learned on this forum.

To all Newbies. Don't be afraid to ask questions, we can all learn something from them.

'Alt-T' works OK. But I prefer to use 'T' in the ops manager to turn off toolpaths once I'm satisfied they are correct. Then I'm only looking at the toolpath currently being worked on.
