Another Right Angle Head Question

Recommended Posts

Does anyone run their right angle heads @ higher RPM's for an extended amount of time? When I say higher RPM I mean around 10K. We have a fairly large project that will start next year that will involve some serious material removal on the ID of the part (Inco 718). Perfect application for ceramics, but 6K is the highest recommended RPM for the "fastest" heads that we have inhouse, and I would never even consider running them that high. They get pretty warm @ around 3500 after a few minutes of run time.

Anybody have any experience and/or advice??
