x5 prolem SLDPRT FILE

ANYONE HAVE PROLEM WITH FILE SLDPRT X5, IT CAN'T MAKE CURVE AND DON'T HAVE GEOMETRY LINE AND CAN'T CHANGER COLOR ON IT,open it have only soild file, I'M OPEN SAME FILE IN X4 IT HAVE ....., in saveAS file bottom option (X4..X3...) it not working FOR ME <, ANYONE HAVE THIS PROLEM/???

I can open a solidworks file using X5 and have it include the edge curves or not. I had a little trouble saving my X5 work as an X2 file until I realized that I needed to select Pre-X5 version, THEN options to select the X2 version. I have not tried to create-curve-all edges yet.

Im not sure about the color yet, but I think the creat edge curves is off by default in X5. You just have to go to your settings and turn it on.

Ok, just tested the create-curve-all edges on a solidworks solid using X5 and it worked well. I know that the create-curve-all edges would fail in previous versions of MC if the solid had some type of construction issue.

I have just tested the solid color options. I have no problem changing colors either the whole part or selected surfaces. Do you have use group colors turned off in your settings? if not make sure you turn it off.

The color problem is related to the new solid face shading. Go to the solids menu and clear all solid face colors

i think SLDPRT file don't need make create-curve-all edges , but it don't have when you open x5
