Swiss Machine Question?

Hi,

 

Does anyone in here have any experience Swiss machine?

 

Do Mastercam support (output) swiss machine post processor?

 

is swiss machine similiar to mill/turn when you program is in cad/cam?

 

how many axis does swiss machine have?

 

What is PNC?

 

Does anyone know where i can get training (tutorial) book or document for swiss machine programming so i learn more about it?

I have 6 years experience of Swiss CNC Machines ie 2 Mikron's and 1 Charmilles EDM

The control on both the Milling (Mikron)machines is Heidenhain (407 & 426)

I got a custom made post processor from my Authorised Local Mastercam Reseller.

 

Probably u should do the same ie Contact ur Local Reseller

 

The Machines I work on are 3 axis .

We also have a Swiss machine (Star) that is I believe seven axis. We are also looking for a solution (Mastercam) so the poor operator can stop programming by hand!!
