but is only showing 16 rows of 16 colors

16 x 16 = 256 am I missing somthing ??

The permanent switch is on the "Colors" page of System Config.

If you set it there it should stick all the time.

You can also change it by toggling between 16 and 256 from the Colors tab at the bottom of the screen

but the setting in System Config should ovedrride this on restart

16 rows of the same 16 colors. I accidentally ran the V7colors.dll chook and can't figure out how to go back to the original.

Try going to system config..

change it to 16, save and relaunch MC

go back to system config and change it to 256..

save and relaunch MC

I've got no idea if this will work.. but it will only take minute to try it.

PS moving this thread to the main fourm..

Okay, that worked and I'm back to 256 colors. I'm not real comfortable with the new forums setup and could not find on how to select which forum to post it it. Thank you.

All good to go here. Thanks John. I've been a little rushed here this morning and I apologize to all if I've been a little abrupt in my postings. Thank you too Gcode. You guys have been a huge help.
