Opti-rough surface?

X5, with a basic conical cavity. Using the Opti-rough path with a step down of .04 the tool will only go approx. half of full depth.

Increasing the step down to .100 and it goes full depth but this is way too heavy of a cut. Have adjusted all helix values pertaining

to this particular path with no luck. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I found this too

 

play with your refine toolpath settings , this will fix the problem

 

if i set it to small or normal NC , optirough won't cut the entire part and if you set it to long , the dept is OK

 

maybe a bug ???

 

i was able to reproduce it , i will sent it to QC
