IMO, if it fits in an HMC, it should run in an HMC. Faster set up (if your process is engineered right), faster operation, more robust, more versatile.

The doosans are ok for the money (we have a few). But in my opinion, if youre shelling out 240K, go the extra and get a makino, mori, toyota, matsura. You will NOT be disappointed.

we have several Doosans,(4 DVC-400, DLS-4020, DHP-5000, DHP5100) but not that particular one. They've been good machines for our 99.5% aluminum shop, but the Makino A61 has made a believer out of me. No comparison on downtime and cycle time is less when the same programs are posted both ways.
