2D Highspeed Dynamic aggrivation

I love all the new Dynamic tool paths but one has given me fits from the beginning.I'm cutting some big, deep pockets using the 2d Highspeed Dynamic tool path because of its friendly treatment of my cutting tools. I use the Helix entry motion. The problem is in the depth cuts. The tool always retracts and then goes back to the feed plane and starts the helix again from the the original feed point. this can really add some ridiculous times when you have to cut 3 inches of air with a helix before you get into any material. I've tried monkeying with every variable I can find and nothing will get rid of this. Help Please!

It's a bug and yep, it sucks. I dont know if this have been fixed in X5 but it is a problem in X4

to at least minimize the frustration make sure you are at least cutting the helix at "feed rate" and not "plunge rate"

A bug of the nature should be fixed right away with some type of patch.

I remember dealing with this by creating multiple ops (manual depth cuts). Copy & paste then just adjust the linking params...
